Matthew Tait was born in Adelaide, Australia in 1977. Like many authors and artists he has held many jobs including DVD store clerk and Hospital Orderly. And, although it seems a pre-requisite for many writers, he likes to think he plays a mean guitar.
Currently he is one of the associate editors of HorrorScope – the multi-award winning Australian News and Literary criticism zine dedicated to Dark Fiction. His latest novel is Davey Ribbon. In 2006, his short story Car Crash Weather was short-listed as a finalist for the Australian Horror Writers Association’s annual competition.
